CMA Garden Design has over 20 years of experience in landscaping, gardening and design. We provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions for both domestic and commercial customers in the South, working on projects of all shapes and sizes.

From Small Acorns…

CMA Garden Design started, as many landscaping businesses do, as just one man with his van. Chris Andrews founded CMA in 2005, driven by a passion for nature and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. He originally studied at Merrist Wood College to achieve a diploma in garden design in 2003, and was awarded a further qualification by the Royal Horticulture Society in 2004. From there he worked for other gardening and landscaping companies, gaining more skills and knowledge before starting his own business in 2005. His aim was to bring together hard and soft landscaping techniques in a way that delivered beautiful results and functional garden spaces.

Now, CMA Garden Design has a team of 15, all permanently employed grounds maintenance and landscape gardeners, all with a passion for nature, gardening and garden design. Our team work both in domestic and commercial spaces, and we are always looking to take on new people who are passionate about gardening.

CMA Garden Design are a team of gardeners and landscapers, each with their own unique qualifications in specialist areas. We are always investing in the continued education of our team, and if you want to know anything about an individual’s qualifications, please do just ask them!

The Association of Professional Landscapers: CMA Garden Design are a proud member of the Association of Professional Landscapers. Being a member means that we have been vetted, inspected and monitored by the association to make sure we’re meeting the highest standards in the industry.

Work Safe Contractor: All of our health and safety measures have been assessed by SMAS Worksafe, allowing us to guarantee the safety of both our contractors and yourselves on work sites.

SSIP: We are SSIP certified through SMAS, which demonstrated our health and safety compliance on a commercial level and means that businesses can choose to work with us with confidence.

The Environment Agency: We are regulated by the Environment Agency to ensure all of our designs meet environmental guidelines, and that all waste is either recycled or disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
